Yin provides a focused intent on nourishment, hydration, and self care. In this class students will be encouraged to relax deeply and soothe body and mind in poses held for an extended time.
Yoga props are incorporated in yin style holds to provide ease and release. Yin yoga uses longer, passive holds (3-5min) targeting deeper connective tissues, such as ligaments, bones and joints. Challenging while cultivating inner peace and quieting the mind.
