Postures are held passively for up to 10 minutes to allow muscles to open and relax, while bones and joints are bathed in nourishment. Props are carefully utilized to support the contours of the body allowing for a state of deep rest and effortless inner peace to merge from non-doing. The body can start to heal itself and return to equanimity, clearing blocks, and strengthening the central nervous system and immune system. No previous experience with yoga or meditation necessary. All are welcome.
